After their new single “Forever And Ever Amen” has been released this week, another track off The Drums’ promising self-titled debut album arrived in the digital realm. “Skippin’ Town” is in the same vein as the previous leaks indicating the band’s heavy influence of the British underground scene. The message is clear and simple: guitar-based pop from Brooklyn blended with traits of London-based independent music is a good thing.
