Artists, Celebrities & Politicians React to Brexit Victory

A few hours ago, it’s been revealed that Britain has voted to leave the European Union. The Leave campaign, or “Brexit,” got around 51.8 percent of the vote and David Cameron is now facing the possibility of resigning as Prime Minister. While a majority of England voted for Brexit, Scotland and Northern Ireland mostly backed Remain. As a result of the voting outcome, the pound crashed to the lowest level since 1985 and sterling fell below $1.35. It is suggested that the FTSE 100 will drop by 8.8pc, or 560 points — it would be the third worst fall in history if stocks stocks continue to fall as sharply. This has caused a massive uproar with UK and non-UK residents, including artists, musicians, celebrities and politicians. Such include Ellie Goulding, El-P, J.K.
