Troy Ave Gets Released From Hospital & Is Held Without Bail
However, the Troy’s lawyer says that the rapper “is the real victim.”

On May 25, a shooting at T.I.’s Irving Plaza concert in New York City left one man dead and three — including rapper Troy Ave — injured. New York Daily News reports that Troy has been discharged from NYU Langone Medical Center and appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court. During the trial, the rapper was charged with attempted murder and unlawful discharge of firearm. Troy plead not guilty to the charges and his lawyer, Scott Leemon, claims Troy (real name Roland Collins), to be the victim in this situation. It’s reported that the man who was killed at the incident, Ronald McPhatter, was a close friend of Troy’s and worked for him as a bodyguard. At this moment, Troy is held without bail; stay tuned for more information on this.
