The music scene has been missing some new music by legendary The Roots-crew lately. Now the wait is finally over as the Philadelphian Hip Hop collective unleashes the first single off their forthcoming ninth studio album How I Got Over. Entitled “Dear God 2.0”, the song is a reinterpretation of the Monster’s Of Folk-song. Black Thought serves some lyrical heat discussing his faith in god while highlighting the ills of life.
