Leon Bridges Drops New ‘Good Thing’ Single “Beyond”
A song about romance at its best.
Earlier this month, Texas soulman Leon Bridges served up the video for “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand.” In the clip, Bridges became a guardian angel and linked up with director Natalie Rae to tell a tale “about the human desire to connect to each other while we live in a world increasing separating us.” Now, continuing to support Good Thing, Leon Bridges delivers a new vignette for album single “Beyond.”
For “Beyond,” Bridges digs deep and uses his guitar and drum-programming skills to deliver timeless, uplifting song about love and the meaningful romantic bonds that make life worth living. “I’m scared to death that she might be it,” Bridges croons. That the love is real / That the shoe might fit / She might just be my everything and beyond.”
