Reni Lane – A Place For Us (Monsieur Adi Remix)

Gearing up for the release of her new album “Ready”, Reni Lane offers four remixes of her single “Place For Us” on her MySpace. Italian musician Monsieur Adi’s interpretation of the Oregon-born, New York-city based artist’s song is easily the most experimental take. The subtle electronica and accompanying violins provide the perfect background for Reni’s totally reworked vocals. With the original version being a pure rock song the remix transforms the song into a nostalgic and dreamy setting. This is how Monsieur Adi himself explains his approach:

“The romantic in me wanted to make it an intimate and cinematic electro dancefloor song. Reni is so dynamic and her vocals were really flawless and I wanted to bring the passion out in her voice.”

Reni Lane’s album “Ready” is scheduled to hit the stores on March 16th via Linda Perry’s label Custard.
