For those keen on pushing their hotel lodging experience up a few notches, say, out in the middle of open waters, Japanese theme park Huis Ten Bosch has an interesting option to consider. This futuristic floating hotel pod boasts two spacious floors — a bedroom and a lounging area — which can comfortably accommodate a willing three-person party.
Other notable features include a small deck, wooden staircase, set of windows and a fully functional bathroom suite. Set to launch later this summer, a room in this Huis Ten Bosch hotel will cost ¥35,000 JPY (approximately $330 USD) per night with a minimum two-night stay requirement.
