A day after premiering their new Noisey Bompton series with an expansive Kendrick Lamar interview and tour through his Blood neighborhood, VICE serve up the second edition of the series. This time around, the series focuses on Kendrick’s friend Lil L, his grandmother and her stories, the L.A. riots and the rap aspirations Kendrick’s childhood friends have. This is certainly shaping up to be one of VICE’s best music-related programs yet. Criminally-underrated LA artists Earl Swavey, Larry Jayy and more make appearances.
