Novelist's 19th Birthday Celebration was Insane
Have you ever celebrated your birthday with an intense cypher session?
Novelist went beyond simply celebrating his birthday in style. One of the grime game’s youngest underground kings celebrated his 19th birthday a couple weeks back, and many of his colleagues and brothers-in-grime showed up to ring in the occassion. However, unlike most birthday parties at clubs and shows, this ended up being an impromptu showcase of some of the best talent grime’s rising class has to offer. The festivities were caught on camera by Risky Roadz, who tells Noisey:
It was the first time I’ve heard the new wave of MCs on set like that, with a load of the original dons. For me, in there with my camera, it felt like 2004 reloaded—the energy levels in the room were crazy! A real epic moment in grime.”
Here’s to many, many more years Novelist. It’s scary how good he sounds right now and the potential for coming years.
