Remember when Kanye proclaimed “This is not album of the year. This is album of the life.”? Welp, our big brother, who was HOV’s brother, is back with another Twitter gem, this time to retract his claim. Out of respect to some of his mentors and friends, including Q-Tip, Lauren Hill, Michael Jackson and Pete Rock, ‘Ye is now stating WAVES will be “one of the greatest” albums of all time, but will also be in the honor of his idols.
We dig the humble ‘Ye, but don’t front on us. If this album brought Amber and Kim together, WAVES is easily the “album of the life.”
