Capture Virtual Ghosts in New Augmented Reality Game 'Ghostbusters World'

Columbia Pictures and 4:33 Creative Lab recently joined forces and are in the midst of developing a new location-based augmented reality game called Ghostbusters World. Similar in concept to Pokémon Go, the new Android/iOS compatible app will encourage players to venture outdoors in a quest to battle and ultimately capture an army of virtual ghosts — taken from the films, TV shows, comic books, theme parks and video games.

Although specific details remain vague, Ghostbusters World is said to take on advanced gameplay functionality with many more exciting features still to be announced. Release details have still yet to be confirmed, however, check out the trailer above for a first look.
