'Yeethoven II' Is Returning to New York City
A mashup of Kanye West & Beethoven.
Introduced to the world last March, the orchestral performance Yeethoven is back for another round. Combing music from both rap icon Kanye West and classical legend Ludwig van Beethoven, Yeethoven II looks to deliver the same thrashing experience for attendees. Created from the minds of Yuga Cohler and Stephen Feigenbaum of LA’s Young Musicians Foundation, Yeethoven II will feature music from Kanye’s critically-acclaimed album The Life of Pablo and Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 8.”
In this hour-long interactive performance, the audience will hear West and Beethoven’s music juxtaposed, developed, varied and spliced together. For all those interested in experiencing this performance, the concert will be taking place in New York City on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. You can purchase tickets now, ranging from $25-$125 USD.
