Killer Mike Plans to Run the Greatest Barber Shop Franchise in America

In a new documentary short film released by Noisey, hip-hop staple Killer Mike talks about his immensely successful chain of barber shops, The Swag Shop. As we follow the artist through the streets of New Orleans, where he plans to open his newest location, he discusses the impact of barber shop culture within a community and why it has been an integral part of his personal and professional growth. Already taking the title of one of the most successful shops on the south side of Atlanta, Killer Mike looks forward to the future and says, “My goal is 150 and I’m not going to stop until I’ve reached it – or I’m going to die trying.” Check out the full video above.
