A Bizarre Error Prevented Drake's "Hotline Bling" From Receiving a Grammy Nomination
Well, this is just bad luck.

While Drake may have earned some Grammy nominations for songs such as “Back to Back,” the song of his that stood out as arguably his biggest single of the year — “Hotline Bling” — was absent from the Grammy pool. The reason: a “clerical” mistake by Cash Money. Hits Daily Double is reporting that a “clerical error on the part of label Cash Money” was the reason for “Hotline Bling” not receiving a nomination. Apparently, the Grammys’ nomination form simply never made it to the Cash Money offices. Either way, considering the fact that Drake received a few nominations and has dominated the game in recent years, he probably won’t be losing much sleep.
