In case you weren’t aware, Howie Lee is one of China’s most talented producers and is known for his unique incorporation of ancient Chinese instruments with modern synths, 808s, and future bass aesthetics. The Beijing beat-smith has released a new music video for “Bei Hai” off his debut album Mù Chè Shān Chū. The visual, animated by the talented Rob Jabbaz, is just as spectacular as the track — the sci-fi-fantasy CGI experience showcases robots and dragons flying over a stunning Chinese landscape.
