Since dropping Ctrl, one of the most anticipated albums of the year, SZA has been enjoying a richly deserved vein of acclaim. Her new stripped-down version of “Go Gina” is yet another example of her special talent.
Taken from CTRL‘s roster of tracks, the TDE star reworks “Go Gina” by singing an acoustic version with simple the bass guitar for accompaniment. The video, which takes place in an ethereal-looking woodland, is part of Vevo’s new LIFT series and sees the “What Lovers Do” artist deliver a fierce rendition of the track.
