Kelis - Brave

Kelis unveils the latest visual off her current Flesh Tone-LP. This time around, the reflective tune “Brave” gets the video treatment. Co-produced by will.i.am and Benny Benassi, Kelis sings in front of a white backdrop throughout the clip. According to the singer, the song is written about her recent failed marriage to Nas. As told to Us Magazine:

“After (the split), everyone was like, ‘You are going through a rough time, you should write something personal.’ I wear my feelings on my sleeve. The hardest decisions are the best ones and for me that was really the case. I am definitely better today than I was a year ago. And I’ll be better next year.”
