UNKLE - The Runaway

NOWNESS presents James Lavelle’s UNKLE return with this video for The Runaway, a track taken from the group’s most recent LP release, Where Did The Night Fall. Directed by Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, the video has been uniquely shot; using a single scene for the entire piece, focussing on a dancing model that is never seen. The elusive subject (model and dancer Shannon Tillery for your information) is an excellent choice, not only standing out in a world of music videos that blindly follow the same formula, but also because the visuals match the progressive swirls of the track eloquently.
