Neon Indian Unveils Performance Video for "The Glitzy Hive"
Featuring Kinect sensors, the latest advancements in technology and more.
Neon Indian continues to tread a different path when it comes to his visual releases. Earlier in the week, he shared Slumlord Rising, an ambitious new short film in support of his new album. Now, he’s pushing his pushing his project with a well-shot live performance video for VEGA INTL Night School song “The Glitzy Hive.” Debuted towards the beginning of this month, “The Glitzy Hive” was performed live during last week at Manhattan’s Webster Hall as part of Neon Indian’s CMJ Music Marathon. The clip for “The Glitzy Hive” also features some artful visuals produced in conjunction with Microsoft and concocted by Listen, who laced the entire band with Kinect sensors intended to react with and visualize their on-stage moves onto a backdrop.
