J. Cole Says That His Show at Meadows Festival Will Be His Last "For a Very Long Time"

Yesterday marked the first day of NYC’s brand new music festival, The Meadows. The bill features a stacked lineup despite having The Weeknd pull out last minute, and headliner spot for the first day is J. Cole. During his performance, he revealed to the audience shortly before finishing his set: “Before I get out of here, listen. This is my last show for a very long time.” He didn’t go on to specify exactly why, but the reaction to his statement has been overwhelming. Check out his speech and reactions below.
