Welcome to the latest edition of Hypetrak’s Weekly Set-series. Despite claiming to interrupt the G.O.O.D.-Fridays, Kanye West continued with his generosity and gave us the remarkable tune “Christian Dior Denim Flow”. Again, the prolific artist allocated a range of illustrious names to attend the audible festivity. Steadily increasing his reputation within the industry, Canadian producer Deadmau5 dropped another stellar cut titled “Raise Your Weapon”. As you can hear, the title complements the aggressive beat quite nicely. Seeking to regain fame and credibility in the business, pop singer Chris Brown enlisted prominent names for the remix of the fan favorite “Deuces”. Drake delivered the Mary J. Blige-laced rework of the radio hit “Fancy” which he premiered at this year’s VMAs. While the world is impatiently waiting for the official soundtrack of Disney’s Tron Legacy, Greek producer INTEIBINT translated the 20 second preview of Daft Punk’s “Derezzed” into an enigmatic club track.

Make also sure to check out DJ Green Lantern’s daring Deuces-infused remix of Jay-Z’s “Song Cry”, Four Tet’s edit of The xx’s VCR, a club orientated translation of Cee Lo’s Green’s “F**K YOU”, Carlos Santana’s cover of the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” as well as a Q-Tip-assisted preview of Chiddy Bang’s The Preview.

There has also been a decent share of interesting video releases during the past seven days. Eminem let loose the official visual for “No Love” featuring a pre-incarcerated Lil’ Wayne. Stones Throw’s Aloe Blacc unleashed the French Noir-inspired clip to “Femme Fatal”. Australian trio Tame Impala showed us their interpretation of “Lucidity”. Duck Sauce finally presented an entertaining visualization of “Barbra Streisand”.

In addition, mixtapes have been present as well. DJing duo Blood Bros gave us First Blood – an everlasting ode to 80s action movies. While the world is patiently waiting for the release of his new album, Young Jeezy compensated his fans with his Last Laught-mixtape. Talented lyricist Mickey Factz offered his new project with the revealing title I’m Better Than You which heats up the anticipation for his debut album The Achievement.
