Kilo Kish Has a Breakdown For "Obsessing" Video
“I’m kind of obsessed with this image of an individual malfunctioning.”
Last year, Kilo Kish finally dropped her anticipated debut studio album, Reflections In Real Time. She’s previously supported the effort with singles and visuals, and today she’s revisiting the LP for another new video. Looking to Reflections In Real Time track “Obsessing,” Kish drops off her first major release of 2017. Self-directed with assistance from Elliott Sellers, the “Obsessing” clip finds Kish employing a whirlwind of emotions and their subsequent physical reactions to bring the song’s sounds to life.
“I’m kind of obsessed with this image of an individual malfunctioning, a cog in the flow of society, one walking the wrong way up the stairs during rush hour or whatever,” Kilo Kish explains to DAZED regarding “Obsessing” and its video. “Something not working perfectly well in its surroundings. Blending, but not exactly. Boring suit, boring parking garage and some girl (me) just exploding. So for this video, I was excited to play this game.”
