Wood Wood Pays Homage to the Golden Era of East Coast Hip-Hop for 2017 Fall/Winter
“The Low End.”
Wood Wood founders Karl-Oskar and Brian grew up listening to hip-hop in the early ’90s, so when it came time to craft their label’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, they looked no further than the golden age of East Coast rap. Aptly entitled “The Low End,” the collection pays homage to the streetwear of early ’90s New York City and puts a contemporary spin on the styles of the era. The results are chock full of workwear and sportswear alike and showcase bold colors alongside oversized logos. The label even takes cues from hip-hop’s adoption of nautical clothing and features appropriate patches and graphic patterns throughout.
Expect the full collection of track suits, fleece, coaches jackets, pinstriped suiting, soft flannels, loose-fitting trousers and more to hit stockists in the latter months of 2017.
