From Skepta to Stormzy and rising stars like J Hus and Dave, after what cumulatively mounts to decades of hard work and grafting, British grime artists have been making waves and pushing their careers to new places on an unprecedented scale over the last few years. Now, however, one artist has taken things a little further.

Appearing on the national television show Good Morning Britain, South London’s Big Narstie realized a more unusual dream by presenting the day’s weather forecast. In a break from the usual language of weather reports, Narstie informed the Scottish Highlands they were due to receive a “bag of snow” and let the English Midlands know that adverse conditions meant that viewers with pets could expect “bare mud in your yard.”
