BAPE Store Is Returning to Los Angeles Soon
The hiatus is over.

In the late 2000s, BAPE opened its Los Angeles store on the corner of Melrose and N. Edinburgh avenues making it a staple in the streetwear out West. A couple of years later, it shuttered those doors leaving BAPE New York as the only U.S. store carrying the APE head gear and CAMO we’ve all come to love. Now, via Instagram images from prettyniggacozy and badgaleighleigh, we get confirmation that the Japanese brand is returning to LA. The storefront scaffolding shows the iconic APE atop CAMO with a quote bubble reading “BAPE STORE L.A. COMING SOON” and a hashtag of #bapela. While the store has not been listed on BAPE’s website yet and no opening date has been announced, it seems the new store will also be located somewhere along Melrose Avenue, this time in West Hollywood according to the user geotags.
Stay tuned for updates and let us know if you’re excited that BAPE is returning to the City of Angels.
