New 'Rick and Morty' Trailer Paves the Way for Its Triumphant Return Next Month

Diehard Rick and Morty fans have been waiting — for what seems like a lifetime — for new episodes of the series to drop. Having made its Season 3 premiere on April Fool’s, co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland didn’t premiere a new episode since then.
Well it now looks like the third season of Rick and Morty is almost here as a new trailer was dropped during a live stream put on by the duo. The new trailer features new footage, just enough to tie fans over until the new episodes will release on July 30 at 11:30 p.m EST over at Adult Swim.
It’s been 18 months since the finale of Season 2. Harmon and Roiland have previously apologized for delays, with Harmon confirming tonight that the storyboard artists were hard at work on animating the season.
