Having taken its cues from tradition on last year’s Japanese woodblock print-inspired capsule, Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé imprint takes a notably more contemporary stance in the lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2017 collection. With its staple pleated, wide-leg pants — coming in minimal patterns and single colorways — the collection also includes oversized sweats, textured jackets and quilted bombers, combining leisure and streetwear aesthetics with classic Issey Miyake flourishes, with the occasional nod to traditionalism thrown in for good measure.
