The 'Star Trek: Discovery' First Trailer Will Take You to the Edge of Federation Space
New worlds abound.
Calling all Trekkies: CBS has just launched the first official trailer for the upcoming television series, Star Trek: Discovery. The gorgeous new footage takes place 10 years before the original 1966 series and stars The Walking Dead actress Sonequa Martin-Green as a first officer alongside Michelle Yeoh and Jason Isaacs as captains on the USS Discovery vessel. Additionally, the trailer offers an elaborate look at new uniforms, Spock’s dad, a sleek starship bridge, undiscovered worlds and impending war with the Klingon Empire.
The upcoming Star Trek series is set to launch on CBS this fall and will consist of fifteen episodes coupled with an aftershow called Talking Trek. Watch the first trailer above and stay tuned for more details.
