This past March, fans were offered the first gameplay trailer for the forthcoming Sonic Forces video game. Now, Sega has released a brand new clip that showcases a sleek customization feature. This marks the first time in the history of the coveted franchise that players can play as their own custom hero. There will be a total of seven different kinds of animals to choose from such as dogs, cats, wolves, rabbits, birds, bears, and of course, hedgehogs. Each species has its own unique ability and various gadgets. Not to mention, your hero will fight enemies alongside the original characters in the game’s narrative.

Watch the trailer above and expect Sonic Forces to release this coming holiday season.
