Marilyn Manson Plays a Hitman in This Thrillingly Sinister Trailer for 'Let Me Make You a Martyr'
A story of revenge, addiction and abuse.
Multihyphenate artist Marilyn Manson is playing the role of a Native American hitman named Pope in the upcoming thriller film, Let Me Make You a Martyr, by writer-directors John Swab and Corey Asraf. The crime film tells a tale of revenge, addiction and abuse, in which Manson’s character is fated to track down and kill his own son, who has fallen in love with his adopted sibling.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Manson shared his behind-the-scene experiences of getting involved in the film. “Within the first day, I was asked if I wanted to skin a coyote,” the pop culture icon said. “It was already dead. And I was asked to burn down a house and ‘kill’ a bunch of people, so the answer was yes, obviously.” The shock rocker stars alongside Sons of Anarchy co-stars Mark Boone Junior and Niko Nicotera.
Let Me Make You a Martyr will hit select theatres on May 25 and be available on various digital platforms on June 6.
