Stretch & Bobbito Are Making a Comeback This Summer on NPR
The NYC hip-hop institution returns.
Stretch & Bobbito were one of the first radio programs in New York City to exclusively cover the burgeoning NYC hip-hop scene in the early ’90s. The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show on WKCR would host the likes of Jay Z, Big L, Nas, and Wu-Tang long before they were stars and become a hip-hop institution to some of the greatest freestyles, demos and live sessions in hip-hop history. Their last show was in 1998, but this summer they’ll be making their return to radio with a new podcast on NPR.
