The Converse Jack Purcell HS V Is Nostalgia in Sneaker Form
Featuring details not seen in four decades.

Converse Japan plays the surefire Americana card with its latest release, the Jack Purcell HS V. The silhouette derives its name from the signature herringbone sole, which is native to Jack Purcells sold before 1970. Reintroduced in the three colorways of white, black and navy, the sneaker also stays true to the period with attention to detail in the shoelaces, heel label and vintage-seeming insole. The shoebox is also designed to evoke nostalgia, and is based on archival photos. The Converse Jack Purcell HS V will hit Converse Japan retailers in the coming days for ¥7,560 JPY (approximately $67 USD).
