The Classic NES Game 'Contra' Can Now Be Played in VR
Can you use that up, up, down, down cheat code, though?
Nostalgic gamers have a soft spot for the original Nintendo NES console and there’s nothing like reliving the 8-bit glory days. Now a company who makes gun controllers for VR systems called PP Gun has made a playable demo for the classic Konami title Contra. VRScout was able to test drive the demo on the HTC Vive albeit without the PP Gun control and it looks like a whole lot of fun.
For those familiar with the original Contra , we see here a player going against the fireball hurling alien boss from the game’s Waterfall level. This is actually the full demo and it’s very short so we’re going to have to wait and see more developments on this in the future.
