Apple Is Looking to Poach Big-Name TV and Movie Producers
For original movies and TV shows.

According to the New York Post, Apple is aggressively looking to poach some big-name TV and movie producers to help beef up its own original programming. Reports say that Apple’s Senior VP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue and Tim Cook met up with execs from Sony and Paramount Pictures.
According to an unspecified source, “They talked to Sony and Paramount last week, they are preparing something big.”
Apple has long been rumored to start its own streaming TV service, rivaling the likes of Netflix. However, Apple currently only has plans with original video content in the form of Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke.
