KAWS Announces "Where the End Starts" Exhibition in Shanghai
The artist’s first large-scale retrospective in Asia with over 100 works.
KAWS recently announced his “Where The End Starts” large-scale retrospective will take place in Shanghai’s Yuz Museum next month. The artist’s first retrospective in Asia will feature around 100 works spanning his storied career and will feature everything from oil paintings, sculptures, sketches, toys and early graffiti. Fans can expect to see KAWS massive companion sculptures and his reinterpretations of classic cartoons characters including Snoopy, The Smurfs, The Simpsons and SpongeBob. The exhibition will be presented by the Yuz Museum Shanghai and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will be open to the public from March 28 to August 18.
