'Soul Caliber VI' Announced With New Action-Packed Trailer
Revealed during The Game Awards.
At last, the next installment of Namco‘s Soul Calibur franchise is here. Soul Calibur VI was announced during The Game Awards for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.
The swordplay fighter debuts revamped and newly introduced mechanics including Reversal Edge that allows players to “defend against the opponent’s attack and directly counter with a powerful strike highlighted through a dynamic camera,” and enhanced cinematic combat. The title is also being developed by the same Unreal Engine that brought Tekken 7 to life, which will also inherit the game’s dynamic camera angles.
