GCDS Explore New York For Latest Festive Ad Campaign
Arcades, Chinese restaurants and streetwear.
To welcome in the festive season, GCDS, or God Can’t Destroy Streetwear, has just unveiled its Fall/Winter campaign video. Shot by director duo MARCO+MARIA and starring DJ/stylist Matthew Mazur, models Lera Abova and Francesco Cuizza, the film follows a group celebrating Christmas in a typically un-jolly environment: New York. With visits to the arcade, makeshift snow and carols in Chinese restaurants, the film showcases the brand’s latest collection, packed with cosy faux-fur coats and oversized turtlenecks sporting GCDS’ signature oversized logo. The film also features a soundtrack by singer Caroline Vreeland, who provides inventive reimaginings of Christmas carol classics.
