Industrial Designer Joey Roth Creates $700 USD Ceramic Speakers
Inspired by tactile mid-century designs.

Similar to his ceramic subwoofers some time ago, industrial designer Joey Roth has created rectangular bookshelf speakers inspired from tactile mid-century designs. Made by hand from a mixture of aluminum, cork, Baltic birch and white-glazed porcelain, the four-inch drivers are able to reach a 70 Hz-20 kHz frequency range without DSP or filters.
The copper wire connects to the drivers while the Bluetooth receiver sits alongside the steel and cast iron external amp. Compatible with almost any source, including computers, turntables and smartphones, premium cables and connectors are included. You can nab Joey Roth’s ceramic speakers for $700 USD on uncrate.
