adidas continues to add to its Arthur Ashe Tribute Collection in celebration of Black History Month with a limited edition adidas Athletics apparel pack and adidas Originals Stan Smith. The apparel collection and Stan Smith will join adidas Basketball’s Harden Vol. 1, D Rose 7 and Dame 3 to honor the legendary tennis pro who became the first African American male to win a Grand Slam title.

A limited edition Arthur Ashe x Stan Smith is the pinnacle of tennis collabs. Honoring the iconic tennis sneaker with one of the greatest to ever play the sport, this model was inspired by the on-court rivalry between Ashe and Smith and their off-the-court friendship. Nineteen-hundred seventy-five pairs will be released in honor of Ashe’s 1975 Wimbledon win. Black trim around the upper lining, a scholastic colorway on the heel tab, and a stenciled face of Ashe on the tongue make this pair unique.

Included in the adidas Athletics apparel selection are a polo shirt, shorts and bomber jacket. The white polo has a clean spread collar and hidden button placket while the back is accented with a tonal three stripe color combination to pay homage to Ashe’s scholastic achievements. Classic 8-inch tennis fit shorts are matched with the bomber jacket which once again commemorates Ashe’s 1975 Wimbledon win with a reflective tennis court design on the back and a portrait of Ashe on the interior.

You can pick up the apparel collection on adidas.com now and expect the Arthur Ashe x Stan Smith’s to arrive in late February.

Take a look at the beautifully shot black and white photos above and let us know if this is a cop or drop.
