Profoto's Pro-10 Studio Flash May Be the World's Fastest
Capable of stopping motion at 1/80,000th of a second.

Lighting is key when it comes to studio photography and the folks over at Profoto have been known to set and raise the bar when it comes to creating photographic flashes built like panzers. The Swedish company recently debuted its Pro-10 studio flash, touting it as “the world’s fastest” as per PetaPixel. The 2400-watt-second device is capable of freezing motion at an insane 1/80,000th of a second — whereas most studio flashes can only fire at 1/8000. It has an extensive power range of 11 stops that you can adjust in 1/10 f-stop increments and not to mention, its immediate recycle times allow the Pro-10 to burst up to 50 flashes per second. Moreover, the device also offers the option of using high speed sync flash mode (HSS) if you want to pare back to standard and color-stable shooting.
So if you’re seriously into capturing high quality images of oozing liquids, sprinting models or any kind of swift motion in general then you may want to consider using this latest device for your next gig. To learn more about this ridiculously fast flash generator head over to Profoto.com.
