Nike Celebrates NFL "Color Rush" Jerseys With NYC Artists
Including works from FAUST, Naturel, Pawel Norbert and more.

Kicking off its 2016 Color Rush jersey line with the NFL, Nike has enlisted the help of 11 New York-based artists to celebrate the collaboration’s debut. A splashy revamp of each of the 32 teams’ “Vapor Untouchable” uniforms, the NIKE+ Space in Manhattan has transformed into a multi-faceted display of sculptures, paintings and installations evoking the collection’s theme. And because it is located in New York, the pieces were undeniably dedicated to either the Jets or the Giants. From robot sculptures built out of shoeboxes to customized newspaper dispensers, the artworks display a diverse range of creative interpretations and responses to the NFL, highlighting its role as a cultural influencer. Artists who participated in the exhibit include Ars Thanea, FAUST, Meguru Yamaguchi, Naturel, Pawel Nolbert, Christophe Roberts, Raven B. Varona, Patrick Vale, Jack Aguirre, Lemon Andersen and Saiman Chow. Take a closer look at the pieces in the gallery above.
