Setting close sight on the release of his upcoming debut album Love + War, Kwabs. is circling back to the beginnings of his career as he shares an older recording, called “Layback.” In a conversation with The Line of Best Fit, the London singer reveals that “Layback” is one of the oldest he composed. While the original was much more similar to a raw demo, and indicated his immense potential — the new version offers a rhythmic ambient that beautifully corresponds to Kwabs’ powerful vocals.
