Gosha Rubchinskiy Launches New Skate Brand Label PACCBET
The Russian designer teams up with a pro-skateboarder.
The celebrated Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy teams up with friend and pro-skater Tolia Titaev to create an all-new apparel line dubbed PACCBET – Russian for ‘dawn’ or ‘sunrise.’ Since meeting in 2009, Titaev became a model and muse for Rubchinskiy, ultimately leading to the new fashion focused endeavour. Like Rubchinskiy’s own sole imprint, PACCBET is produced by COMME des GARÇONS. The inaugural collection consists of a small selection of skateboards, T-shirts, hoodies and caps, all designed by Titaev himself. “We designed clothes to skate in. It’s mean streetwear I think,” he says of the range. The collection will be available on September 17 at Dover Street Market as well as the Paris Trading Museum.
