German e-commerce giant Zalando has been tapped by Google for a brand new fashion-centric endeavor: Project Muze. Utilizing machine learning via Google’s TensorFlow to create virtual fashion via code, the project uses “a neural network trained by style preferences of over 600 fashion experts” and is “fueled with data” from both Google’s own Fashion Trends Report and Zalando’s most popular current trends. The result, created in partnership with British design studio Stinkdigital, is a decidedly futuristic take on fashion design and one that approaches product creation in a completely atypical manner.

Check it out for yourself over at projectmuze.com and look for pieces to make an actual, tangible real life debut at Berlin’s Bread&Butter between now and Sunday, September 4.
