Google & Zalando's Experimental Project Muze Does Fashion Design via Code
“Explore the infinite possibilities of virtual fashion.”

German e-commerce giant Zalando has been tapped by Google for a brand new fashion-centric endeavor: Project Muze. Utilizing machine learning via Google’s TensorFlow to create virtual fashion via code, the project uses “a neural network trained by style preferences of over 600 fashion experts” and is “fueled with data” from both Google’s own Fashion Trends Report and Zalando’s most popular current trends. The result, created in partnership with British design studio Stinkdigital, is a decidedly futuristic take on fashion design and one that approaches product creation in a completely atypical manner.
