Sole Classics & Vans Produce a Folklore-Inspired Heritage Runner
Telling the tale of “Kitchi.”

Inspired by Vans’ running shoe from the ’80s, the recently introduced OG Runner is subject of its first collaboration with Columbus-based Sole Classics. Outfitted with premium leather and neoprene overlays, a combination which is rarely seen, this unique release is representative of a local folklore tale which tells of a boy who used the Ohio River to save himself and his village, as showcased by the vibrant blue color scheme of the shoe. Subtle 3M sidestripe details, alternate 3M lacing, dual branding along the heel, and a gold “X” marking the retailer’s 10th year round out the limited edition design. A perfect blend of Vans premium Vault line and “Off The Wall” heritage, you can purchase the Sole Classics x Vans OG Runner LX “Kitchi” exclusively in-store and online beginning June 25 for $150 USD.
