The folks over at “Super Deluxe” on YouTube created a whimsical, animated video that takes viewers through 58 years of video game controllers. Beginning from the 1958 Tennis for Two and concluding at the 2016 Oculus rift, this short clip showcases the evolution of some of the world’s most beloved gaming devices. Although a majority of the controllers don’t necessarily differentiate in terms of design and button-layout, it’s really stunning to see how far controllers have gotten. All in all, the most noteworthy device would have go to the Wu Tang controller for PlayStation 1.
