Take Down a Brutish Horde of Alien Forces in 'Halo Wars 2'
Boasting the largest Halo battlefield yet.
In the new official E3 trailer for Halo Wars 2, the real-time strategy game picks off where the Spirit of Fire crew left off in the first game. It pits the player against a brutish horde of alien enemies known as “the Banished” — their leader “Atriox” looks like an extremely irate gorilla. Moreover, this sequel to 2007’s Halo Wars, will also allow players to configure aerial views as they lead human and alien forces in action-packed battles. The makers further claim that it will have the largest battlefield yet.
Recently, Dan Ayoub of 343 Industries Studio gave die-hard Halo fans at Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference the answer they’ve long-awaited for: Halo Wars 2 will be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on February 21, 2017. The beta version is already live for Xbox Live Gold members, here.
