Seven and a Half Minutes of Marble Heaven

Perhaps not as prevalent in today’s youth as a means of entertainment, but if you remember playing with marbles — or perhaps still? — then the above video will be a visual treat. Marble enthusiast Ben Tardif has created an 8-foot-tall and 8-by 12-foot-wide “Marble Mountain” that beats them all when it comes to home made marble amusement parks. The engineering feat is comprised of 25 different sections, all seamlessly fitted together to create one massive kinetic structure. Each of the 25 sections are individually themed, and include attractions such as a roller coaster, a ski jump, Times Square, Lombard Street, a skate park, and more. The Marble Mountain took Tardif three years to complete, and it was all worth it. Enjoy the fun-filled seven and a half minute video above.
