Nisolo Reintroduces the Emilio Chukka and Lockwood Trench Boot With Conner Youngblood

One of its more popular duos, the Emilio Chukka and Lockwood Trench Boot, is now making a return in four different colorways with the help of musician Conner Youngblood and his dog, Juneau.

A traditional chukka silhouette with a newly-developed leather sole, each pair is handmade by the Nisolo team in Peru that boasts “above fair trade wages, professional development courses, as well as savings and loan programs.” As Conner Youngblood discovered, “the Nisolo story only got cooler once I learned where and how the shoes are made in Peru. There seems to be a very familial vibe to the company as a whole.”

The Emilio Chukka and Lockwood Trench each have a full-length, soft leather insole with built-in arch support and a cushioned, microporous interior fully-lined with soft leather for increased comfort. Finished with a sleek yet durable leather outsole, a slip-free rubber heel cap, and an added layer of stitching between the upper and leather sole for a slightly more masculine look.
