Lupe Fiasco Disses J. Cole Over His "Everybody Dies" Beat

J. Cole’s “Everybody Dies” was a track that was ultimately left off of 4 Your Eyez Only. The noteworthy single featured an A Tribe Called Quest sample and took shots at the Lil rappers. He doesn’t name anyone, but Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty did respond to the perceived slight. Now the track is also notable for getting a Lupe Fiasco mix. Titled “N.E.R.D.,” the new cut contains a few subliminals, calling out some of hip-hop’s rising stars, and rapping about artists being easily deceived by record labels.
